In 2021 Shillington Education needed a manifesto. Their brief was rooted in energy, attitude, and a strong point of view.

Being a manifesto format, it was the perfect opportunity to build something straightforward: Less about explaining, more about the feeling.

The film lives with a strong graphic language that embraced design principles such as contrast, repetition, typography and color from the start.

The art direction was intentionally direct, fresh and colorful, and André used motion as a way to amplify the film's tone and rhythm, rather than decorate it.

Design and animation evolved together (all in After Effects), making it possible to test how type, layout, and movement could interact with each other, in a way that felt meaningful and dynamic.
The close collaboration with the Shillington team, fluid and responsive, helped to preserve bold design choices & snappy animation.
